Line Item Status to track Submitted Sales Orders more granularly

Tracking overview

Configure and assign custom statuses for each Line Item to track jobs at a deeper level.

Locating this section in app:

  • Sales > Sales Orders > select any Sales Order > Tracking or

  • Customers > select a Customer > select a Sales Order > Tracking


Tracking page features


Sales Order # and Customer name

Every page has the Sales Order # and Customer name at the top of the page.


Search

Search by Product name.


Action buttons

Each Sales Order will also have Action buttons; these will differ depending on the stage the Order is at.

πŸ—’οΈ Note: Close will close the Order saving changes and will leave the status unchanged. Any updates will not pushed through to your accounting package.


Add manual time entry

Accessible button for adding Timesheet to automatically link the Sales Order.


Time Tracker

Display the total hours for:

Hours estimated

The total number of labour line item hours on the order. By clicking the displayed Hours estimated, will show a detailed breakdown of the total estimated hours.

πŸ—’οΈ Note: Team members are searchable using the Search function.


Hours worked

The total time that Team members have clocked onto this Order. By clicking the displayed Hours worked, will show a detailed breakdown of the total worked hours.

  • Team members are searchable using the Search function

  • edit allows changes for time entry submitted. Review Roles/User Types to determine who has permission to edit the Timesheet.


Hours scheduled

The total number of hours scheduled on Planner for this order. By clicking the displayed Hours scheduled, will show a detailed breakdown of the total scheduled hours.

Status

Create a new status, or search for an existing Status, created in Workflow, to add to each Product Line Item.

Creating a status

  1. Select Create status.

  2. Enter a Status name and select a colour from pre-assigned colours, or add a HEX code, or drag your cursor to set a desired colour.

  3. Click on Save.

πŸ—’οΈ Note: Workflow will continue to work as it currently does today, with statuses created specifically for line items not displaying as columns on Workflow.


Searching a status

  1. Type keyword of the status in Search field.

  2. Select the status you are locating.


Changing a Status of a Line Item

  1. Locate the Product Line item you want to change the status on.

  2. Click on the current status of the Product Line item.

  3. Select the status you want to change by searching or scrolling on the status list.

πŸ—’οΈ Notes:

  • select + to expand Products in kits to change the Status of each item

  • select blank status to remove any status assigned to a Product Line item.
