Workflow Child/Line Item Card overview
Creates a separate Card (Child/Line Item Card) for each Line Items on a Job/Order, allows viewing and tracking line items statuses visually.
🗒️ Notes:
Child/Line Item Cards cannot trigger email/SMS updates;
For Product Kits, only display the Parent Kit and any Sub Kits as Child Cards, not the individual items within Parent or Sub Kits.
Manage Workflow Child Card
Manage the status/progress of Workflow Child/Line Item Card in a Kanban board/master view.
🗒️ Notes:
Set the status of Line Items on an Order prior commencing;
If Line Items status is not configured, Child/Line Item Cards should not display on Workflow;
If a Line Item is assigned a Custom status that doesn’t exist on Workflow, then the Child card should not display on Workflow.
Set Line Item status on an Order
In
Workflow, click on an Order;Select
Tracking;Set the status for each Line Item as required.
Show line item card
Locate Show/Hide child cards filter > select
Show child cards.
Hide line item card
Locate Show/Hide child cards filter > select
Show hide cards.
🗒️ Notes:
Child/Line Cards are linked to Line item statuses in Tracking tab;
If the
Line Item statusis manually adjusted, it automatically move the correspondingChild/Line Item Cardaccordingly;Likewise, if the
Child/Line Item Cardis dragged into a new status column, it updates theLine Item status;Hide line item cardwill no longer display anyChild/Line Item Cardfor the selected Order.
Mark as Complete
In Workflow:
right click >
Mark as Complete.
In Tracking tab:
click the status next to the Line Item > select
Complete.
