Overview
Opening a new or existing sales order opens the Order details tab, a single view that consolidates everything captured against the order. The tab is organised into four sections:
π₯ Access permissions
Only users with permission to access Sales Orders can view order details. Review user roles before granting access.

Order Information
The Order Information section contains the system-generated identifiers, key dates, and statuses for the order.
Order #: A system-generated unique number for each sales order.
Customer name: The customer the order is for.
Action buttons: Available actions vary depending on the order's status.
Created by: The team member who created the order. System-generated and not editable.
Created date: The date the order was created. Not editable.
Required date: The expected fulfilment date for the order. Editable while the order is in Draft status.
Assigned to: The team member(s) responsible for managing the order.
Invoice status: Defaults to No on a new order; updates automatically as invoices are issued.
Order status: Defaults to Draft and updates as the order progresses through the workflow.
Contact Details
The Contact Information section captures who the order is for and where it goes.
Contact: The primary contact for the order. Select from the contacts already added for the customer, or manually add a new contact.
Bill to: The billing address. Pulls the customer's saved billing address automatically; if none is set, an address can be added or changed manually.
Deliver to / Pick up / Install at: The address where the order will be delivered, picked up, or installed (depending on the option selected).
PO field: An optional field for capturing the customer's purchase order number for cross-referencing.
Labels: Searchable tags for sorting and filtering orders across the Sales Orders page.
Notes: A free-text field for special instructions, delivery information, or other internal comments.
Custom Columns
Any custom columns added via the Sales Orders main page are displayed in this section, so business-specific fields appear alongside the standard order data without leaving the order view.
Product and Pricing
The Products and Pricing section lists every line item on the order, including products, product kits, and drawings (if Drawings is enabled). Each line item shows its pricing, quantity, cost, and margin, with the delivery fee and any discounts itemised at the bottom of the section.
