Quote Details

Detailed quote view across order details, contacts, custom fields, and pricing.

Overview

Opening a new or existing quote opens the Order details tab, a single view that consolidates everything captured against the quote. The tab is organised into four sections:

πŸ‘₯ Access Permissions

  • Only users with permission to access Sales Orders can view quote details. Review user roles before granting access.

πŸ“ Location in the app

  • Global Search > search for a quote > select Order details

  • Sales > Sales Orders > select a quote > select Order details

  • Sales > Customers > select a customer > select Order details

Order Information

The Order Information section contains the system-generated identifiers and key dates for the quote.

  • Order #: A system-generated unique number for each quote. Retained when the Quote is converted to a sales order.

  • Customer name: The customer associated with the quote.

  • Action buttons: Tools for managing the quote (e.g. edit, duplicate, convert).

  • Created by: The team member who created the quote. System-generated and not editable.

  • Created date: The date the quote was created. Not editable.

  • Required date: The expected fulfilment date for the quote. Editable while the quote is in Draft.

  • Assigned to: The team member(s) responsible for managing the quote.

  • Accounting Package Quote #: The linked quote number from a connected accounting integration (MYOB, QBO, or Xero).

  • Quote status: The current status of the quote. Defaults to Quote when first created.

Contact Information

The Contact Information section captures who the quote is for and where it goes once approved.

  • Contact: The primary contact for the quote.

  • Bill to: The billing address.

  • Deliver to / Pick up / Install at: The address where the order will be delivered, picked up, or installed once the quote is approved.

  • PO field: An optional field for capturing the customer's purchase order number for cross-referencing.

  • Labels: Searchable tags for sorting and filtering quotes across the Sales Orders page.

  • Notes: A free-text field for special instructions, delivery details, or other internal comments.

Custom Columns

Any Custom Columns added via the Sales Orders main page are displayed in this section, so business-specific fields appear alongside the standard order data without leaving the quote view.

Product and Pricing

The Products and Pricing section lists every line item on the quote, including products, product kits, and drawings (if Flashings is enabled). Each line item shows its pricing, quantity, cost, and margin, with the delivery fee and any discounts itemised at the bottom of the section.
