Editing and Duplicating Timesheets

Update existing time entries or copy them to quickly log similar work.

Overview

Existing time entries can be edited to correct details or updated, and duplicated to save re-entering the same information for similar work. Both actions are available from the Timesheet Manager page, and editing is also available from the Tracking tab of a sales order.

  • Please review user roles before managing Timesheets.

๐Ÿ“ Location in the app

  • Productivity > Timesheets

  • Sales > Sales Orders > select an order > Tracking tab


Edit a Timesheet

Time entry details can be edited from either:

  • If a time entry was previously Approved, editing it returns it to Awaiting Approval status.


Via the Tracking tab of a sales order

  1. Go to Sales > Sales Orders.

  2. Select the relevant sales order.

  3. Click the Tracking tab.

  4. Click Hours worked.

  5. Locate the time entry to edit.

  6. Click Edit.

  7. Make the necessary changes.

  8. Click Done to save.


Via the Timesheet Manager page

  1. Go to Productivity > Timesheets.

  2. Select a team member.

  3. Click the + next to the relevant date to expand the time entries.

  4. Click the โ‹ฎ (more options) menu next to the entry.

  5. Select Options > Edit.

  6. Make the necessary changes.

  7. Click Edit time tracking entry to save.


Duplicating a Timesheet

All user types except Assignee can duplicate their own Timesheets. Duplicating is useful for quickly logging similar time entries without re-entering details.

  1. Go to Productivity > Timesheets.

  2. On the Timesheet Manager page, select a team member.

  3. Click the + next to the relevant date to expand the time entries.

  4. Click the โ‹ฎ (more options) menu next to the entry.

  5. Select Duplicate.

  6. Make the necessary changes.

  7. Click Duplicate time entry to confirm.
