Overview
If a Quote was created for the wrong Customer, the Customer can be changed directly—removing the need to recreate the Quote from scratch.
👥 Access Permissions: only users with assigned permissions for creating Quotes and Sales Orders will see this option. Please review user roles prior commencing.

Global Search > search and select a Quote >
Options
Sales
>Sales Orders
> select a Quote >Options
Sales
>Customers
> select a Customer > search and select a Quote >Options

How to change the Customer on a Quote
Ensure the Quote is not in Draft status
Go to
Options
>Change customer
In the pop-up window, search for and select the new Customer
Click
Change customer
to confirm.
📝Notes:
Changing the Customer will clear all contact and address details from the Quote, but all product and pricing information will remain unchanged
The Quote will be set back to Draft status, allowing further changes if needed
If integrated, any linked Quote in the accounting package will be deleted and recreated under the new Customer.
