Scheduling Orders for Delivery

Assign/schedule orders from Delivery backlog to be delivered. Drag and drop the orders into the calendar for scheduling.

πŸ—’οΈ Notes:

  • Delivery backlog displays a list of orders ready for delivery

  • The Delivery Backlog number is the number of Orders not yet scheduled for delivery.


Moved to Delivery Backlog

Use the right-click function on the mouse and select "Move to Backlog" to bring an order back to Delivery backlog section.

πŸ—’οΈ Note: the Order is then returned to Backlog for rescheduling.


Mark as Delivered/Unmark as Delivered

Indicate orders as delivered, right-click with the mouse and select Mark as Delivered; to undo this, right-click again and ch0oose Unmark as Delivered.

πŸ—’οΈ Notes:

  • Delivered orders become greyed-out and marked with a tick in calendar view.

  • Marking an Order as Delivered will alter the status of the order in Order Details to Delivered.


Mark as Picked Up/Unmark as Picked Up

Indicate orders as picked up, right-click with the mouse and select Mark as Picked Up; to undo this, right-click again and choose Unmark as Picked Up.

πŸ—’οΈ Notes:

  • Picked up orders become greyed-out and marked with a tick in calendar view

  • Marking an Order as Picked Up will alter the status of the Order in Order Details to Picked Up.


Generate Run Sheet

To generate a Run Sheets follow these steps:

  1. Click the gear icon

  2. Select Run Sheet option

  3. Set Date of Run

  4. Choose Vehicles to include

  5. Once all the information is filled in, click Generate run sheet.

πŸ—’οΈ Note: printing a Run Sheet is beneficial for Assignee team members such as delivery drivers who are unable to log into Factory.


Add/Delete Vehicle, Run name and Hours Worked

Proceed by following the provided instructions:

  1. Click the gear icon

  2. Select Settings option

  3. Type the vehicle/run name to be added on Add vehicle/run field

  4. Press Enter on the keyboard

  5. Set work period in Calendar hours.


Upload Proof of Delivery (POD)

πŸ’‘ Tip: a tablet with network access is required.

Team Member assigned to deliver orders have the capability upload Proof of Delivery. To do this, follow these step:

  1. Be logged into Factory app - https://app.factory.app/login

  2. In the Delivery Scheduling calendar view click to open an Order

  3. Locate Add a message field:

  • Select the paperclip, select Take a photo or video (this could be a photo or video of where the delivery has been dropped and/or a signature on a Delivery Docket), select use photo/video, the photo/video will be added to the message and press Send and/or

  • Select the notepad to obtain a digital signature. Under Add signature enter the Customer name and have the Customer add a signature and select Done

πŸ—’οΈ Note: Team Members who can collaborate on orders can track Proofs of Deliveries.
