Order History (Customers)

Every quote and sales order linked to a customer, with search, filters, and bulk actions.

Overview

The Order History page lists every quote and sales order linked to a customer, with search, filters, sorting, and bulk actions for status updates and archiving. Use it to find a specific order, change statuses across multiple orders, or quickly see a customer's full purchase history.

๐Ÿ‘ฅ Access Permissions

  • Only users with access to Customers can view the Order History page. Review user roles before granting access.

๐Ÿ“ Location in the app

  • Sales > Customers > select a customer > Order history

  • Global Search > search for a specific customer > Order history


Key features

Customer name

The customer's name appears at the top of the page.


Search

Search by:

  • Sales Order #

  • Purchase Order #

  • Contact name

  • Created by date

  • Phone numbers

๐Ÿ“ Note

  • Partial matches are supported. For example, typing "61" returns results like "610".


Filters

Three filter types are available:


Order Date / Invoice Date

Filter orders by a date range.

  • Both From and To dates must be selected.

๐Ÿ’ก Tips

  • To filter by a single day, double-click the date (e.g. 10 Aug 2025) to apply it to both the From and To fields.

  • Use Tab to move between filters.


Status

Filter by Invoice Status, default Order Status, or any Custom Status added via Workflow.

๐Ÿ“ Note

  • Invoice Status and Order Status filters are combined using AND logic. For example, selecting Not Invoiced and Archived returns orders matching both conditions.


Checkbox (bulk actions)

Use the checkboxes to select multiple orders for bulk Change Status or Archive actions.

Use checkboxes to select multiple Order and perform bulk Change Status or Archive actions.


Change status

  1. Tick the checkbox next to each submitted order.

  2. Click the Change Status icon.

  3. Select the new status.

๐Ÿ“ Note

  • Orders in Draft or Quote status cannot be updated in bulk.


Archive in bulk

  1. Tick the checkbox next to each order or quote to archive.

  2. Click the Archive icon.

๐Ÿ“ Note

  • A pop-up appears with an option to undo the archive.


Create Order

Click Create Order to start a new sales order for the selected customer.


Sort

Sort columns (e.g. Order Number, Date) in ascending or descending order.


โ‹ฎ (more options) menu

Use the โ‹ฎ (more options) menu next to an order to archive or duplicate it.


Rows per page

Choose how many results appear per page using the dropdown.

  • The maximum rows per page is 35.


Pages

Use the navigation arrows at the bottom of the table to move between pages.
