Customers: Order History

View all Sales Orders linked to a selected customer.

Overview

Click on a customer to view all associated Sales Orders.

πŸ“Where to find it in the app:

  • Sales > Customer > select a Customer > Order history

  • or use Global Search > search for a specific customer > Order history

πŸ‘₯ Access Permissions: Only users with access to Customers can view Customers main page. Please review user roles prior commencing.


Key features

Order history page provides a complete view of orders, their statuses, created and required dates, and actions such as archiving or updating.


Customer name

Displayed at the top of the page.


Search

Search by:

  • Sales Order #

  • Purchase Order #

  • Contact name

  • Created by date

  • Phone numbers

πŸ—’οΈ Note: partial matches are supported. For example, typing β€œ61” returns results like β€œ610”.


Filters

  • Order Date

  • Invoice Date

  • Status


Order Date / Invoice Date

Filter orders by date range.

πŸ“ Note: both From and To dates must be selected.

πŸ’‘ Tips:

  • To filter by a single day, double-click the date (e.g. 10 Aug 2025) to apply it to both fields (From and To)

  • Use Tab to move between filters:

    • Type an Order Number

    • Press Tab to move to the date filter

    • Press Enter to open the calendar and select a date


Status

Filter by Invoice Status, Default Order Status, or any Custom Status added via Workflow.

πŸ“ Note: Invoice Status and Order Status are combined using "AND" logic. For example, selecting Not Invoiced and Archived will return orders matching both.


Checkbox (Bulk Actions)

Use checkboxes to select multiple order and perform bulk Change Status or Archive actions.


Change status

How to change orders status in bulk:

  1. Tick the checkbox next to submitted orders

  2. Click the Change Status icon

  3. Select the new status.

πŸ“ Note: orders in Draft or Quote status cannot be updated in bulk.


Archive

How to archive orders in bulk:

  1. Tick the checkbox next to relevant orders or quotes

  2. Click the Archive icon

πŸ“ Note: a popup appears allowing the archive to be undone


Create Order

Click Create Order to generate a new Sales Order for the selected customer.


Sort

Sort columns (e.g. Order Number, Date) in ascending or descending order.


Kebab menu

Use the kebab icon next to an order to archive or duplicate the order.


View options

Choose how many results to show per page (up to 35). Use navigation arrows to move between pages.
