Customer: Contacts

View and manage all contacts within a customer account.

Overview

The Contactstab shows all contacts linked to a customer. Contacts can be:

  • Added to orders

  • Set to receive order status notifications

  • Recipients of quotes and invoices

๐Ÿ“Where to find it in the app:

  • Sales > Customers > select a Customer > Contacts

  • or use Global Search > search for a customer > Contacts


Key features


Search

Search by contact name, phone, mobile number, or email address.

๐Ÿ“Note: partial search is supported. For example, searching โ€œJeโ€ will return both Jessica and Jeffrey.


Add contact

Add contact button allows new contacts to be added to a customer account.

๐Ÿ“Note: there is no limit to the number of contacts that can be added per customer.


Kebab menu (โ‹ฎ)

Use the kebab icon (โ‹ฎ) next to a contact to access the Delete option.


How to add a contact

  1. Select Add contact

  2. Complete the following fields:

    • Contact name (required)

    • Email address (must include a username, โ€œ@โ€, and domain)

    • Phone (ensure correct country format)

    • Mobile (ensure correct country format)

  3. Click anywhere on the white background to automatically save the contact.

๐Ÿ“Note: if customers exist in accounting packages (MYOB, QuickBooks Online, or Xero), bulk contacts can be imported in bulk via Settings > Integrations > Import Customers.


How to edit a contact

  1. Click the + icon next to the contact to expand it

  2. Update the contact fields

  3. Click anywhere on the white background to automatically save changes


How to delete a contact

  1. Click the kebab icon (โ‹ฎ) next to the contact

  2. Select Delete.

๐Ÿ“Note: deleting a contact does not remove them from historical orders.

โœ‹ Warnings:

  • Contacts flagged as invalid cannot be deleted. Any invalid fields must be corrected first

  • A short popup will appear after deletion to allow an Undo. Once dismissed, the contact must be re-added manually if needed.
