Q: What should I do if a Material isn't sold in different colours?

A: If the item doesn’t come in multiple colours, simply toggle Not sold in colours before saving.


Q: Can I bulk upload my Materials list via CSV or Excel?

A: Materials currently need to be added manually or duplicated. If you have a large list to import, please contact support@factory.app or send a message via Messenger within Factory.


Q: How do I permanently delete a Material I no longer use?

A: To preserve data integrity and maintain accurate order history, Materials cannot be permanently deleted. Instead, you can use the Archive feature to remove them from your active list.


Q: Can I reorder how Materials appear in the pricing table?

A: Materials are currently displayed in a default order. If you need a specific sequence, consider adding a numerical prefix to the name (e.g. 01 – Stainless Steel) to control how they appear.


Q: Is it possible to apply a price increase to all Materials at once?

A: Pricing is managed within individual Product Settings, so bulk price updates across all materials please contact support@factory.app or send a message via Messenger within Factory.


Q: Can I attach a photo or swatch image to a Material?

A: Materials are currently text-based within pricing tables, so images can’t be attached directly.


Q: I can't find a Material

A: If you can’t locate your material, make sure Show archived materials is ticked, as it may have been archived. You can also try searching using a partial name to help narrow down the results.
