Overview
Once a Quote is approved, it can be converted into an Order—unlocking key job management tools such as Invoices, Order Confirmations, Work Orders, and Delivery Dockets.
👥 Access Permissions: only users with assigned permissions for creating Quotes and Sales Orders will see this option. Please review user roles prior commencing.
📍Where to find it in the app:
Global Search > search and select a Quote >
OptionsSales>Sales Orders> select a Quote >OptionsSales>Customers> select a Customer > search and select a Quote >Options.
How to convert a Quote to an Order
Ensure the Quote is not in Draft status
Go to
Options>Convert to OrderIn the confirmation pop-up, select
Convert to Order.
How to convert a Quote to an Order (in Draft status)
Select
Submit as Orderinstead of Update Quote
The system will convert the Quote directly to an Order.
📝Notes:
The Order # remains the same as the Quote #
Converted Orders are automatically set to Submitted status
If integrated with an accounting package, the Quote # will convert to an Order or Invoice #, depending on the connected accounting package.
