Overview
Once a quote is approved by the customer, it can be converted into an order. The conversion unlocks the job-management tools that depend on a confirmed order, including invoices, order confirmations, work orders, and delivery dockets.
👥 Access Permissions
Only users with permission to create quotes and orders can convert quotes to orders. Review user roles before granting access.

Global Search > search and select a quote >
OptionsSales>Sales Orders> select a quote >OptionsSales>Customers> select a customer > search and select a quote >Options
Convert from Quote status
Ensure the quote is not in Draft status.
Go to
Options>Convert to Order.In the confirmation pop-up, select
Convert to Orderto confirm.
Convert from Draft status
A quote can be converted directly from the Draft view, with no separate confirmation step. Use this path when editing the quote and approval comes through at the same time.
Select
Submit as Orderinstead ofUpdate Quote. The quote converts to an order in one step.
📝Notes
The order number remains the same as the original quote number.
Converted orders are automatically set to Submitted status.
When an accounting integration is connected, the conversion also creates a corresponding order (or invoice, depending on the accounting package) in the connected system.
