Assigning Price Levels to Customers

Assign customers to price levels individually or in bulk to control their default product pricing.

Overview

Price levels determine the default rates customers see when products are added to their orders. The Price Level Manager allows customers to be assigned to price levels individually (via drag and drop) or in bulk (via the โ‹ฎ menu on each column). New customers start in the Unassigned pane until a price level is set.

๐Ÿ‘ฅ Access permissions

  • Only users with access to Price Level Manager can assign customers to price levels. Review user roles before granting access.

๐Ÿ“ Location in the app

  • Sales > Price Level Manager

Assign a price level to a customer

Newly created customers appear in the Unassigned pane by default, unless a price level was set via the customer's Settings tab during creation.

  1. Drag the customer's name from the Unassigned pane (or from another price level column) and drop it onto the desired price level column.

๐Ÿ“Notes

  • Once a price level is assigned, only that price rate is applied when adding products via the Start typing to add product function.

  • To view and select other price levels when using Add Product > Product Catalogue, tick Show all price levels.

Assign a price level to customers in bulk

Use the โ‹ฎ (more options) menu to move every customer from one column to another in a single action.

  1. Click the โ‹ฎ (more options) menu next to the Unassigned pane or any price level column.

  2. Select Move all customers.

  3. Choose the target price level to move every customer from the current column.

Assign a price level via Customer Settings

A price level can also be assigned to a customer from the customer's record. See How to assign a Price Level to a Customer via Customer Settings.
