Stocktake overview

Stocktake functionality enables you to track and manage stock and inventory.

Locating this section in app: Products > Product Catalogue > Tools > Stocktake


Enabling the tracking of stock

To track stock check I sell this item and I track stock for this item in, when adding or editing a Product in the Product Catalogue.

Enabling I sell this item will display the Pricing Table. Enabling I track stock for this item will add a Tracking tab to the Pricing Table.


Stocktake page features

Search

Utilise Search to easily find a Product that requires stock update.


Filter by supplier

Filter the Product results by Supplier. The Suppliers added will show in alphabetical order when dropdown arrow is selected.

πŸ—’οΈ Note: all Suppliers are selected by default, even if they seem unselected when the dropdown menu is clicked.


Tracking Tab in the Pricing Table

  • On Hand: stock on hold; update during a Stocktake

  • Promised: a non-editable column that automatically updates when Sales Orders are Submitted

  • Available: a non-editable column that automatically updates with On Hand minus Promised

  • On The Way: a non-editable column that automatically updates when Purchase Order has been submitted. Once stock has been marked as received the On Hand value increases.


Undertaking a Stocktake

A list of all Products marked with I track stock for this item will be listed under Category headings.

To undertake a Stocktake:

  1. select Product > Product Catalogue > Tools > Stocktake.

  2. Expand items you want to update, under the On Hand column.

  3. Make adjustments to stock/inventory On Hand.

  4. Select Update Stock to save.

The Available column will automatically update with any changes.

πŸ—’οΈ Note: to print an Inventory List, right click your mouse (on the Stocktake page) and select Print.
