Product Catalogue overview

A Catalogue of all commonly bought and sold Products. Use search to create a view to Delete, Duplicate and Add New Products.

Search

Search by Category or Product Name

🗒️ Note: adding a partial word in Search i.e. typing “eng” will return any customer with “eng” in their title e.g. “Test Engineering”.


Delete

To delete a Product from the list:

  1. Select a Product using the checkbox or by selecting a Product then click on the kebab/other options next to it

  2. Select Delete, or by selecting a Product and selecting the kebab/other options menu, and then Delete.

🗒️ Notes:

  • A popup window will appear to confirm that you will no longer be able to add these products to Sales and Purchase Orders;

  • Deleting a Product does not remove it from historical orders.


Tools

Allows you to Duplicate product or undertake a Stocktake.


Duplicate product

Duplicate an existing product. Save time in creating a similar product by duplicating an existing product.

  1. Select the checkbox of the product/s you want to duplicate.

  2. Click on Tools > Duplicate product.

  3. Then edit the newly created product to match the required details of the product.


Stocktake

Select products from the Product Catalogue > Tools > Stocktake > make changes to On Hand for products being updated > Update Stock.

🗒️ Note: to print an Inventory List, right click your mouse (on the Stocktake page) and select Print.


Add New

Select Add New to add a new Category (group heading), Flashing, Product (Item) and/or Product Kit (Bill of Materials).

Choose Category, Flashing (if enabled), Product or Product Kit depending on what's being added.

🗒️ Note: we can support you with uploading Products (Items) in bulk.


Uploading Products (Items) in bulk

We can support you with uploading a Product/Item list in bulk; we require the list in a CSV/Excel format.

A bulk list can be downloaded from our accounting package.

For MYOB users:

  • Download your Item list from MYOB, select Lists > Items > Print > Export (top left dropdown) > Excel
