Use Checklists to prioritise and track items that need to be completed

Checklists overview

Create Checklists, with Items, to prioritise and track items that need to be accomplished to complete a Sales Order.

Locating this section in app:

  • Sales > Sales Orders > select a Sales Order > Checklist or

  • Sales > Customers > select a Customer > select a Sales Order > Checklist


Checklist page features

Add attachments to Items, track completion, delete Checklists, and save commonly used Checklists as Templates.


Sales Order # and Customer name

Every page has the Sales Order # and Customer name at the top of the page.


Action buttons

Each Sales Order will also have Action buttons; these will differ depending on the stage the Order is at.

๐Ÿ—’๏ธ Note: Close will close the Order saving changes and will leave the status unchanged. Any updates will not pushed through to your accounting package.


Checklist/s

List down to-do Items to complete Sales Order efficiently.

Create a new Checklist/s

  1. Select Add New to create a Checklist.

  2. Update the name of the Checklist.

  3. Click Enter to Add Item to the Checklist.

  4. Continue adding Items to track and prioritise work.


Delete Checklist/s

  1. Select the kebab/other options menu aligned to a Checklist.

  2. Select Delete.


Attachments

Attachments can be documentations of each Checklist Items.

Add Attachment/s

  1. Select an Item you want to add an attachment to.

  2. Select the paperclip to upload an attachment.

๐Ÿ—’๏ธ Note:

  • a paperclip on the right side of the Item will confirm that an attachment is attached.


Remove Attachment/s

  1. Select an Item you want to remove an attachment.

  2. Select the paperclip.

  3. If multiple attachments are added , list of attachments will show.

  4. Select the x icon to remove the attachment.


Checklist Templates

Save commonly used Checklists as a Template for future re-use, and Add Template to another job, or Delete Template if no longer required.

Save Checklist as a Template

  1. Select the kebab/other options menu aligned to a Checklist.

  2. Select Save as Template.


Add Checklist Template

  1. Select Templates.

  2. Choose the required Template from the list then select add.


Delete Checklist Template

  1. Select Templates.

  2. Select the kebab/other options menu align on Checklist Template to delete.

  3. Select Delete.


Track Completion of Items

Select the radio button aligned to an Item to mark as Completed.

๐Ÿ—’๏ธ Note: Factory will calculate how many tasks are Completed with a timestamp and initials of the User/Team member who completed the task

View the numbers to the right of the Checklist name for the number of items completed and open Items still to be completed.

๐Ÿ—’๏ธ Note: when you add Items to your Checklist youโ€™ll notice Factory automatically creates a tally of the number of items and how many are completed.
