Overview
Reverting an active Order to a Quote enables continued control over job fulfillment, ideal for placing work on hold while retaining access to key quoting tools such as generate or send Quote and Proforma Invoice.
👥 Access Permissions: only users with assigned permissions for creating Quotes and Sales Orders will see this option. Please review user roles prior commencing.

Global Search > search and select an Order >
OptionsSales>Sales Orders> select an Order >OptionsSales>Customers> select a Customer > search and select an Order >Options.
How to convert an Order back to a Quote
Ensure the Order is not in Draft status
Go to
Options>Convert to QuoteIn the confirmation pop-up, select
Convert to Quote.
How to convert an Order back to a Quote (in Draft status)
Select
Update Order
Go to
Options>Convert to QuoteIn the confirmation pop-up, select
Convert to Quote.
📝Notes:
The Order # remains unchanged
Converted Orders are set to Submitted Quote status
The Order will be automatically converted to a Quote in the connected accounting package, if integration is enabled.
