Overview

Configure document templates, including creating, customising and setting default templates for each document type.

Key Features

Search PDF Templates

Templates can be searched by name.


Create a template

Select Create template to create a new PDF template.


Template statuses

Statuses that you can come across:

  • Read-only - Factory templates were PDF template if not customise

  • Default template - templates set for each document type.

  • Inactive - created templates that are not set as default templates.

๐Ÿ“Notes

  • One template is always assigned as the default for each document type (Invoice, Partial Invoice, Delivery Docket, Proforma Invoice, Purchase Order, Quote, Run Sheet and Work Order).

  • Factory default templates cannot be archived.


Creating a new template

To create a new PDF Template, follow these steps, or take a moment to watch the short video.

  1. Select Create template within Document template.

  2. Choose a document type, then select Create new template.

  3. Build the template using drag-and-drop components.

  4. Adjust styling such as font, alignment, column size and background colour.

  5. Select Publish to save changes.

  6. Use the more options (three dots) menu to set the template as default

โœ‹ Warning

  • Progress is not saved if the window is closed while creating or editing a template.

Managing PDF templates

Use the more options (three dots) menu beside each template to:

  • Archive or unarchive

  • Duplicate

  • Edit

  • Make default
