Allows the creation and customisation of new templates for each PDF generated in Factory

PDF Templates overview

The PDF Templates is a searchable page that displays a list of all PDF Templates.

πŸ—’οΈ Note: Administrator and Power User can access Document templates. Please review the roles for each user type prior to commencing.

Locating this section in app: Account Settings > Document Templates


Search PDF Templates

  • PDF Templates can be search by PDF Templates name.


Create a template

  • Select the Create template button to creating a new PDF Template.


Template statuses

Statuses that you can come across:

  • Read-only - Factory templates that can be duplicated and have their design changed.

  • Default template - templates set for each document type.

  • Inactive - created templates that are not set as default templates.

  • Coming soon - templates that are still being developed.

πŸ—’οΈ Notes:

  • There is always one template assigned as the default template for each document type (Invoice, Partial Invoice, Delivery Docket, Proforma Invoice, Purchase Order, Quote, Run Sheet, and Work Order)

  • Factory default templates cannot be archived.


Creating a new template

To create a new PDF Template, follow these steps, or take a moment to watch the short video.

  • Select Create template within Document template

  • Choose from the available document templates presented, then select Create new template

  • Start dragging components and adjusting font style, alignment, column size, or background colour

  • Finalise the template, then Publish

πŸ—’οΈ Notes: closing the window while creating or editing a Template will not save the progress.

Managing PDF templates

  • Select the kebab/other options menu (beside each Template)

  • Select archive/unarchive, duplicate, edit, or set a Template as default.
