Adding drawings/flashings to Sales Orders (this is additional functionality that needs to be requested)

πŸ—’οΈ Note: Drawings needs to be enabled to add flashing and tapered flashing to Sales Orders.

Adding drawings/flashings

Select Add drawing to open the drawing screen.


Options

Set Options (these are based on Flashings in your Product Catalogue):

  • Price level

  • Material

  • Colour

  • Thickness

Enter Lengths to calculate total lineal metres.

Edit Pricing to calculate total cost to be charged.


Add flashing

Choose from Add flashing or Add tapered flashing to add a drawing.

Hold your mouse in the drawing area, when you see a green circle, hold down your left button and commence drawing by dragging your mouse.

Click your mouse to create a bend, and continue drawing if required.

To complete your drawing double click your mouse to end.


Editing a drawing

  • The green circles allow you to resize a length by clicking and dragging the circle

  • To commence redrawing double click your mouse, on a green circle at the end of a line, to commence a new line

  • When complete select Done to add the drawing to a Sales Order

Add text

  • Select to add text/notes to the drawing

Add/remove colour side arrow

  • Select to add (or remove) colour side arrow to the top right corner

Centre drawing

  • Select to centre drawing on the page

Duplicate tapered profile

  • Select Add tapered flashing, add drawing to Far side, select Duplicate tapered profile to duplicate the drawing to the Near side.

Add/remove square edge

  • Select to add (or remove) square edge symbol from the right side of the drawing


Editing a point

  • Right click a green circle at the end of a line to:

    • Delete the point

    • Add a Crush and fold (CF)

      • Alter the number after CF to specify the size

      • Right click the green circle to:

        • Delete point

        • Flip bend

        • Delete bend (select Delete to alter/change the point)

    • Add an Open hook (OH)

      • Alter the number after OH to specify the size

      • Right click the green circle to:

        • Delete point

        • Flip bend

        • Delete bend (select Delete to alter/change the point)

    • Add a Feather (FE)

      • Alter the number after FE to specify the size

      • Right click the green circle to:

        • Delete point

        • Flip bend

        • Delete bend (select Delete to alter/change the point)

    • Add a Drip edge (DE)

      • Alter the number after DE to specify the size

      • Right click the green circle to:

        • Delete point

        • Flip bend

        • Delete bend (select Delete to alter/change the point).


Editing a bend

  • Click a green circle at the bend to move it

  • Right click a green circle at a bend to:

    • Delete the point

    • Hide/show the angle


Add dimensions

? is a field to add dimensions (this is a numeric field only)

?o is a field to add degrees of the angle (this is a numeric field only).


Drawings on Sales Orders

When a drawing is added to a Sales Order you can:

  • Select the Drawing to open it

  • Select the dropdown arrow to:

    • Choose between having a standard or large image

    • Duplicate the Drawing

    • Delete the Drawing


Adding Flashings to the Product Catalogue

πŸ—’οΈ Note: newly created Flashings will appear in the Flashing Category (at the top of your Product Catalogue).

Adding a New Flashing to your Product Catalogue:

  • Select Add New > Flashing

  • Type over the wording "Flashing material" to add a Flashing name

  • Under Flashing Options add a:

    • Thickness eg 0.5

    • Colour/Finish eg Zincalume

  • Under Fees add:

    • Extra bend fee (if applicable)

    • Tapered fee (if applicable)

  • Under Pricing add:

    • Select/Add a Price level

    • Enter girth details for both Girth min and Girth max

    • Right click mouse to add extra bends

    • Enter bend prices for each row

    • Add extra rows using either right clicking mouse and/or selecting + add row

  • Click Save

  • When adding a Drawing to an Order the pricing information will be available under Options
