Overview
The Timeline tab shows every system-generated event on a purchase order in chronological order. The timeline captures:
The current status and how long the order has been in it.
Total time assigned to team members and time scheduled on the order.
Status changes throughout the order's lifecycle.
Actions taken on the order, such as emailing the order, generating PDFs, or marking items as received.
Use the search and filter controls to narrow the view to specific events.

Key features
Purchase Order # and supplier name
The purchase order number and supplier name appear at the top of every Timeline page.
Action buttons
Each purchase order shows action buttons that vary depending on the order's current status. See Purchase Order Statuses and Action Buttons for the full reference.
Search Timeline
Search the timeline by purchase order status.
Filter by event type
Filter the timeline to show only specific event types:
General: Events related to the order being created or edited.
PDF Generated: A PDF document was generated for the order.
Status changed: Events where the order's status changed.
Notification: Notifications enabled via Workflow, either email or SMS.
Timeline summary
A summary panel at the top of the timeline showing key metrics for the order:
Details
Current Status: The status currently assigned to the order.
Time since created: The total time since the order was created.
In current status: How long the order has spent in its current status.
Time in Status
How long the order has spent in each status it has moved through.
Timeline view
The chronological list of every event that has occurred on the order, from creation through to completion.
